Hearthstone mod · Windows · Beta
Every Battlegrounds game you play is recorded, and a new Replays page in the Battlegrounds lobby plays any of them back in the real client: jump to any moment, step through a fight, or watch at up to x4. It runs inside the game client, with no Hearthstone Deck Tracker needed. Free and open source, and in beta: the bug button opens a bug report with the details already filled in.
Windows · Hearthstone for PC · no Deck Tracker needed
Free & open source (Apache 2.0)
Battlegrounds → Replays shows your last games, one card each: hero, hero powers, trinkets, final board and hand, place, date and length. Watch plays the game back in the real client.
Previous/next event and turn, pause and speed up to x4, and a timeline of the whole game with its fights marked. Hover it to see the turn and event, click to go there. Drag the bar anywhere or shrink it to its buttons; F10 hides it.
Space pause · ←/→ previous/next event · Ctrl+←/→ previous/next turn · Enter/Backspace one step · +/− speed.
Keep the last 5 to 50 games with a slider on the page. The star on a card saves that game to a folder of your choice, outside the Hearthstone folder, where it stays.
HSReplayWatcher-Setup-<version>.exe with the button above or from Releases. To remove it: Windows Settings → Apps → HS Replay Watcher → Uninstall. BepInEx goes with it, unless another mod still uses it or it was there before.
HS Replay Watcher 0.28.0: watch your Hearthstone Battlegrounds games again, inside the game. Beta.
Every Battlegrounds game you play is recorded. Battlegrounds → Replays lists your last games (hero, trinkets, final board and hand, place, length); Watch plays one back in the real client, with a replay bar to jump to any moment, step through fights and watch at up to x4.
HSReplayWatcher-Setup-0.28.0.exe, close Hearthstone, run it. Windows may warn about an unknown publisher: More info → Run anyway.Made for patch 37.0.
No. It is a mod for the Hearthstone client itself, loaded by BepInEx, and runs whether or not HDT is installed. The setup brings BepInEx if your Hearthstone does not have it yet, and leaves an existing one as it is.
It is an unofficial client-side mod that Blizzard does not support. It records a game by keeping a copy of the messages between the game server and your client, and never changes a live match. BepInEx, the loader it runs through, is a gray zone of Hearthstone's Terms of Use: Blizzard has never taken restrictive action against such tools.
No. As of the date at the top of this page, recordings stay on your PC, and a replay plays from a small server that only your own PC can reach. The bug button only opens a page in your browser.
Click the bug on the replay bar, or left of Back on the Replays page. It takes a screenshot and opens a new GitHub issue (you need a GitHub account) with your versions and PC filled in, plus a folder with the game and logs to attach. Press Ctrl+V in the issue to paste the screenshot. The game file is a copy with your session passwords, PC name and device id removed.
A patch can stop the watcher until a new release is out. To check whether it loaded, look for HS Replay Watcher loaded in BepInEx\LogOutput.log in your Hearthstone folder.
In %LOCALAPPDATA%\HS Replay Watcher. Uninstalling leaves them there; delete that folder to remove them as well. Starred games are in the folder you picked.
